A young heiress, discouraged by fruitless efforts to secure a suitable husband at the seashore and fashionable summer resorts, decides to go to visit her old nurse, to recuperate. A youth who is pretty much "down and out" receives a letter from a city friend saying that the heiress is in town. The friend advises him to board at the house at which she is staying with the intention of courting the her.
